  • Voting Data: Your votes are associated with your account. If your profile is set to public, your voting activity may be visible to other users on your profile page.
  • Usage Data: We collect standard log data including your browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and time spent on the Service.
  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies as described in detail in our Cookie Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use Google AdSenseto display advertisements on the Service. 3.5. Google Analytics Data Collection

We use Google Analytics to analyse how visitors use the Service. Google Analytics collects data about your usage of the Service to help us understand user behaviour and improve our services. We have enabled the following Google Analytics features:

Google Signals Data Collection

We have activated Google Signals, which allows Google Analytics to collect data about both your traffic and data collected through a standard Google Analytics implementation to provide additional features. When Google Signals is enabled, Google Analytics may collect visitation information and associate it with Google's information from accounts of signed-in users who have consented to this association for the purpose of ads personalisation.

Google's information may include end-user location, search history, YouTube history, and data from sites that partner with Google. By using our Service with Google Signals enabled, you acknowledge that we adhere to the Google Advertising Features Policy, including rules around sensitive categories, and that such data may be accessed and deleted by you via My Activity.

User ID and User-Provided Data Collection

We use the User ID feature to connect your behaviour across different sessions and devices, providing more accurate user counts and a more holistic view of your interactions with our Service. We do not send personally identifiable information as User ID to Google Analytics.

We also use user-provided data collection, which allows us to send consented, hashed customer data to Google Analytics in a privacy-safe way. This feature improves measurement and enables additional capabilities when linked to Google Ads accounts. By enabling this feature, we acknowledge adherence to the user-provided data feature policy and have the necessary privacy disclosures and rights from our users for such use.

Granular Location and Device Data Collection

Google Analytics collects metadata about city-level location and granular device details of site visitors to provide location and device-based capabilities. Region and country-level metadata is collected by default for all traffic to support regional privacy policies and region-based Analytics settings.

Ads Personalisation

We allow ads personalisation, which may export Google Analytics audiences and key events to linked Ads accounts for the purpose of delivering relevant, personalised experiences. Disabling Ads Personalisation means that existing shared audience lists are marked as inactive, no new users will be shared via audience lists, and any exported data will be designated as not for use in ads personalisation.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party companies and individuals to facilitate the Service, provide the Service on our behalf, perform Service-related tasks, or assist us in analysing how the Service is used. These third parties have access to your personal information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Our key third-party service providers include:

  • Supabase - database hosting and authentication services.
  • Google AdSense - advertising services. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Vercel / Netlify - website hosting and content delivery.

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share aggregated, non-personally identifiable information publicly, such as voting trends and community rankings. We may disclose your personal information in the following limited circumstances:

  • With your consent or at your direction
  • With service providers who assist in our operations, under confidentiality agreements
  • To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or enforceable governmental requests
  • To enforce our Terms of Service or protect the rights, property, or safety of Pickometer, our users, or the public
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where your information may be transferred as a business asset
